The Craft

A tool that's worth using

Each stirring straw is drawn from solid borosilicate glass rods at a high-temperature flame. The colour runs through the entire length of the straw so it won't chip, fade, or scratch off with use or washing.

Borosilicate glass is food-safe, non-porous, and completely flavour-neutral. It won't affect the taste of whatever's in the glass, unlike some metal alternatives and it won't stain or absorb odours over time.

These are made to be used, washed, and used again. They're the kind of bar tool that becomes a fixture, something guests notice and ask about, and something you'll still be reaching for in ten years.

Common Questions

Everything you need to know.

Are these dishwasher safe?

Yes. Borosilicate glass is heat-resistant and holds up to dishwasher use. Hand-washing is always gentler and will keep them looking pristine for longer, but they won't be damaged by a dishwasher cycle.

Will the colour fade or chip?

No. The colour is worked into the glass during the making process, not a surface coating. There's nothing to chip or fade. The straw will look the same after ten years of use as it did on day one.

Will they affect the taste of my drink?

Not at all. Borosilicate glass is completely flavour-neutral and non-porous. It won't impart any taste, and it won't absorb flavours or odours from previous use, unlike some plastics or even certain metals.

Can I order a custom length or diameter?

Yes. Standard lengths suit most glasses, but if you need something specific, longer for tall highball glasses, wider for certain cocktails, mention it when you get in touch and we'll accommodate it.

Can I order large quantities for a bar or restaurant?

Yes, commercial orders are welcome. If you're looking for a large set in a specific colour to match your venue's aesthetic, get in touch to discuss quantities, timelines, and pricing.

Do you ship outside Regina?

Yes — we ship custom and in-stock pieces worldwide. Local pickup is also available in Regina, Saskatchewan.
